Brahmi or Vallarai in Tamil or more popularly known as Gotu kola its Singhalese name is a very well-known ayurvedic herb. This herb is highly revered or its mind-enhancing properties (strengthen memory, focus and concentration and for the support it provides to the nervous system. Rustic Radish Greens sholapuri saag

One of my favourite to grow in my garden is radish. I grow both the red salad radish and also the white long daikon radish or mooli. The mooli is a winter vegetable in India and I usually grow it in early summer for the greens and during spring and late summer for the radish itself. Nankhatai

The Indian version of shortbread. Here it goes – Ingredients 1 cup all purpose flour 1/2 cup besan / gramflour / chickpea flour 2.5 tblsp rava / semolina ( the finer version ) 1/2 cup castor sugar Pinch of salt & cardamom powder ( I also added a pinch of cinnamon powder which is optional ) 1/2 cup partially melted ghee. 1 tblsp – greek yoghurt ( optional) Nuts of your choice for garnish ( optional ) Procedure 1.Sieve all dry ingredients. 2.
